I was born on the 13th April 1948 in the Spanish province of Salamanca, in a small village called Boada, in the middle of fields
with haciendas where the best fighting bulls
are bred and where storks nest throughout the year.

After the end of the Spanish war, there was no more work, and starvation set in. My father and mother decided to leave Spain for France.

At that time, it required a tremendous courage to leave without knowing French. I admire their great courage, and I owe them a big thank-you.

All of my parents’ nine children have good jobs and have been taught the true values of life.

I have worked as a roofer for 42 years. From my roofs, I have been dreaming of travels, I have been looking at the changing colours of the sky.

I made my decision: one day, I would paint all these colours and share them with the entire world.

In retirement, I learn howto with water and colour, then, two years later, I took to oil painting, then to sculpture.
